Now that we have stepped into the festive period, we are spreading some Christmas joy this week in our library by reading stories to the children. Some of these are traditional, such as ‘The Night Before Christmas’, others are magical including ‘A Boy Called Christmas’, but we always enjoy the funny and interactive stories such as ‘The Smelly Sprout!’ Whether old or new, each of the Christmas books we read hold a story with a valuable lesson! We are sure that the children will enjoy this special time.
‘Can you believe there was a time when no one knew about him? A time when he was just an ordinary boy called Nikolas, living in the middle of nowhere, or the middle of Finland, doing nothing with magic except believing in it? But life was going to change for Nikolas, in ways he could never have imagined. Things were going to happen to him.
Good things.
Bad things.
Impossible things.’
