Year 4 enhanced their class based learning by participating in an Anglo-Saxon workshop with a performing arts specialist last week. They learnt all about why the Anglo-Saxons came to Britain and what they did while they were here. Imagining they were Anglo-Saxon peasants, Year 4 created their own freeze frames of different aspects of their life. They pretended to farm the land, hunt for animals, prepare our food and listen to stories around the fire. Year 4 then performed these to an audience.
