We love dancing at Rowner and Dance Live has shown-off our enthusiasm for it. Hindi cinema, often known as Bollywood and formerly as Bombay cinema, is the Indian Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai (formerly Bombay). Year 3 and Year 4 took part in a Bollywood workshop yesterday which they thoroughly enjoyed. The children worked through a series of moves and had this choreographed into a lively routine which they performed to their friends. The adults all had a go too! The workshop complimented our PE curriculum, provided a new experience, gave an insight into Asian dance and linked to some of our class based learning too.
