Lunchtime Supervisor (primary) – Rowner Junior School
Contract: Permanent
Start date: as soon as possible following completion of safe recruitment checks
Hours: 5 hours a week / 39 weeks a year (1 hour a day)
Salary range: Actual Salary £2,085 per annum (calculated as 5/37 x 44.09 x 52 / £17,842 full time equivalent)

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, calm and enthusiastic Lunch Time Supervisor to join our team.
We are looking for somebody who:
- Enjoys working with children and is keen and able to actively engage with them during playtime to promote ‘positive play’
- Is reliable, flexible, punctual and able to work as part of a team and can communicate effectively with children
- Is prepared to administer basic first aid (training available if required).
Your main duties will include:
- Working for one hour everyday
- Helping to organise children in the hall, classrooms and outside areas, encouraging good manners in-line with our school responsibilities
- Supervising, leading and supporting play activities and encouraging children to participate in lunchtime activities
- Promoting independence and positive behaviour
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of all our pupils
- Dealing with minor first aid needs (training available)
- Assisting with associated duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean etc)
