We wanted to start a new tradition at Rowner this year – taking inspiration from Iceland’s ‘Jóla bókaflóð’ which translates as Yule Book Flood. Over the last month our amazing community have been donating books for this year’s flood.  We have collected enough for every child to take home a book, alongside a snowman’s soup (hot chocolate pack) to enjoy whilst reading. We look forward to discussing what they have read in the New Year and wish you all a very Merry and safe Christmas.
